From Currila and the centre to Shkozet and Spitalla, then the beach line through Plazh, Golem, Qerret and Mali i Robit. Shijak and Sukth are collected on Saturdays. In season we add runs for holiday properties.

What is different on the coast
Sand, salt and sea damp.
Near the beach a rug lives in different conditions: sand grinds the fibres from inside and humidity keeps the backing damp all summer.
Sand in the backing
Sand does not come out with a vacuum. We beat the rug mechanically until the backing is free of it, then wash.
Damp and musty smell
Coastal rugs often arrive smelling of damp. Drying takes as long as it needs and moisture is checked before wrapping.
Salt from the sea air
Salt stiffens the fibres. Rinsing with clean water continues until the rug is soft again.

The same prices as in Tirana.
No coastal surcharge. Transport is free, there is no minimum order, and the discount for several rugs applies. Prices in Albanian lekë; roughly 100 lekë = €1.

Holiday homes and rentals
Rugs that work three months a year.
Before and after the season
Two washes a year, one in May before opening and one in September before closing, are usually enough and add years to the rug.
Winter storage
The rug should be stored dry and rolled, not laid out in a closed flat. We wrap it ready for storage if you ask.
Changeover cleaning
For rentals we collect and return within 24–48 hours when a slot is free. Hosts with several units get a seasonal contract.

When does the van come to Durres?
Tuesday and Saturday. We send a two-hour time window the day before the run.
Do you cover Golem, Qerret and Mali i Robit?
Yes, on the same coastal route. Kavaje and Spille by arrangement, when two or more orders fall on the same run.
Can you collect from my apartment while I am abroad?
Yes, with your written OK and someone to open the door: a neighbour, a caretaker or your property manager. Each rug is labelled with the apartment number and you get photos at pickup and delivery.
How often should a rental rug be cleaned?
Twice a year for seasonal rentals: in May before opening and in September before closing. Year-round rentals every three to four months.
Is there an extra fee for the coast?
No. Pickup and delivery are free in Durres, Plazh, Golem and Shijak, with no minimum order. Only the route day differs.
Do you work with hotels and guesthouses?
